The latest developments war in Yemen… Al-Eryani sends message to Lebanese people about Hezbollah
The army, the Giants’ Brigades and the Popular Resistance Movement achieved major victories yesterday against the Iranian Houthi militia on various battlefronts in southern and western Marib province, with the direct support of the Legitimacy Support Coalition air force.
A military source told the Armed Forces Media Center: Army units backed by the popular resistance launched a surprise attack yesterday morning, liberating strategic positions on the northwestern front of Marib. Dozens of Houthi militiamen were killed and wounded, and a number of Houthi elements were arrested, according to al-Yamn al-araby.
On the southern front, the army and the resistance launched a large-scale offensive that liberated large areas in the direction of Marib, he said, noting that the progress achieved by the army and the resistance heroes is more than 10 kilometers long; on the Harib front, the Giants’ Brigades made new advances on several fronts and came close to joining the army and popular resistance forces, amid the faltering and collapsing ranks of Iran’s Houthi militia.
In conjunction with the battles, coalition aircraft launched a series of strikes targeting fortifications, concentrations, and reinforcements of the Iranian militia in various locations south of Marib, causing heavy casualties and material damage.
The source confirmed that the battles in the southern front, which are still ongoing until now, resulted in untold human and material losses in the ranks of the Iranian militia, confirming that dozens of Houthi bodies are still scattered in the deserts, some of them left by the militia days ago.
Meanwhile, Yemeni Information Minister Mouammar al-Eryani lashed out at Lebanon’s Hezbollah, saying the Yemeni people have paid a heavy price for their interventions, which amount to leading and directing military operations and participating in fighting on the ground.
In a statement released yesterday by the official news agency Saba, he said: The Iranian regime has planted the Lebanese Hezbollah militia and used it, like its militias in the region, including the Houthis, as a tool to kidnap Lebanon away from its Arab environment, to use Lebanese territory as a base for spreading chaos and terrorism in the region, and to carry out its expansionist project with its sectarian roots and its historical grievances against the Arab nation.
The Yemeni Minister of Information welcomed the recent increase in calls in Lebanon for Hezbollah militias to stop interfering in Yemen’s affairs, stop managing, arming and financing Houthi militias, act as a regional proxy for the Tehran regime, withdraw its experts and fighters, close the Almasirah channel, and put the interest of Lebanon and the people above the Iranian agenda.
Al-Eryani called on political forces, elites, journalists and the Lebanese people to defend their identity and Arab identity and to confront the practices of Hezbollah militias and their terrorist activities, which have damaged Lebanon’s relations with its brothers and friends and tarnished its image as a country of love and peace.
