Houthis accused of committing 1,924 truce violations on various fronts in Yemen
The Yemeni army accused the Houthi terrorist militia of carrying out the attack 1924 in violation of the United Nations truce in Yemen, since it was declared in effect in early April.
The Yemeni Armed Forces Media Center tweeted: “We observed the Houthi militia committing a violation of the U.N. truce within 21 days of its declaration on the battlefronts in the provinces of Hodeidah, Taiz, Dhale, Hajjah, Saada, al-Jawf, Marib, Abyan and Lahij”.
The violations included 573 violations on the Taiz front line, 406 on the Hajjah front, 399 on the Marib front, 330 in Hodeidah, 152 on the Al-Jawf front, 49 in Dhale, 9 on the Saada front, 4 on the Abyan front and 2 on the Lahij front.
The violations included: 967 firing of bullets, 264 artillery attacks, 305 reinforcements, 59 attacks and infiltrations, 178 flight by drones and reconnaissance flights, 105 operations to create new trenches and fortifications, 20 mine-laying, 19 sniper operations, and 7 targeting civilian objects and areas of displacement in Hodeidah, western Taiz and the city of Marib.
The Yemeni army said its forces are “committed to the directives of the political and military leadership that call for a complete ceasefire”, accusing the Houthis of intentionally violating the truce from its first moments and they are still violating it.
The truce gave Houthi militias a new chance to regroup and regroup to fight another war with Iranian support against legitimacy and the coalition supporting it.
