‘We are with you’ – Emirati initiative to support flood victims in Pakistan
The UAE Red Crescent Authority, the Dubai Cares Foundation, and the Sharjah Charitable Association, in coordination with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and the Ministry of Community Development, have called for joining the “We are with you” initiative and helping to assemble relief packages for those affected by the floods in Pakistan.
The initiative comes as part of the UAE’s efforts to provide urgent relief assistance to those affected and displaced in Pakistan.
The event will take place on Saturday, September 10, 2022 at 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center (ADNC) in Abu Dhabi, the Dubai Exhibition Center (DCC), the South Hall of Expo Dubai and the Sharjah Expo Center.
The “We are with you” initiative, which is organized by charities in the UAE, urges all segments of society in the country to show solidarity with affected Pakistani families and support this voluntary initiative in these difficult circumstances.
Charities have also given those who wish to volunteer and participate in the initiative the opportunity to register via the volunteers.ae website.
