Houthi escalates his crimes and violations against Yemeni tribes – Details
In recent days, the Houthi militia has stepped up its relentless attacks and violations against tribesmen and their leaders in several areas of Yemen, as the militia seeks to take over their land and property and humiliate their tribal opponents.
Looting and seizure
Reports have revealed that militias continue to loot the lands and properties of the tribes and subjugate them by force of arms in all unliberated provinces, deploying their forces and military machinery, imposing a siege on many areas and setting up numerous checkpoints around the Burkan area after the people refused to hand over their land to the Houthi militia, as part of a series of looting and robberies carried out by the terrorist militia in Yemen’s regions.
Yemeni political analyst Abdul Hafeez Nahari said the Houthi terrorist militia’s military campaigns are targeting home raids, crimes of humiliation, assault and kidnapping against dozens of residents, including women and children, in addition to looting the contents of houses that were raided, angering many Yemeni tribes.
Crimes against tribes
All of these actions require immediate and strong action to respond to Houthi’s terrorism and continued violations against the Yemeni people, particularly its tribes, who are subjected to violations and crimes that deserve to be held accountable for all of Houthi’s criminal acts.
He continued: The Houthi terrorist militia holds all the feelings of hatred against the Yemeni tribes in order to implement the Iranian plans, which is rejected by the Yemeni people, stressing that the situation has become difficult in light of the international silence towards those continuous violations and crimes of the Houthi and the looting and seizure it is carrying out against the Yemeni tribes.
Human rights condemnation
Yemeni human rights organizations have condemned the crimes and serious violations suffered by the people of Yemen’s tribes at the hands of militia gunmen. They called for an end to the campaign of prosecutions carried out by the terrorist group, which they described as unprecedented violations against the Yemeni people.
