Calls to Purge Legitimate Authorities of Muslim Brotherhood Elements: The Misdeeds of Yemen’s Al-Islah Party Members

Yesterday, activists affiliated with the Al-Islah party, regarded as the Yemeni branch of the Muslim Brotherhood, offered a drone for sale on social media.

Activists shared an image of the drone, allegedly looted from government forces’ warehouses in Marib, part of the equipment provided by the Saudi-led coalition, according to Al-Muntasaf Net.

According to the activists, this incident exposes the true nature of Brotherhood members collaborating with the Houthi militia, previously responsible for the fall of the Nihm (Sanaa), Al-Jawf, and southern Marib fronts into Houthi hands.

They asserted that Al-Islah members infiltrated within legitimate institutions have, over the past ten years, looted weapons from army depots in Marib and Taiz, either selling them or handing them over to the Houthis.

The activists called on legitimate leadership to initiate a purge of the army and government institutions from Brotherhood elements before engaging in any military operations against the Houthis or even peace negotiations. They emphasized that these elements are a source of corruption and betrayal, undermining Yemen’s interests.
