The Muslim Brotherhood (International Organization) Incites Against the Jordanian State


The acting General Guide of the Muslim Brotherhood (International Organization), Dr. Salah Abdel Haq, leader of the London faction, called for not criminalizing anyone who supports the resistance in Jordan, and for the release of the sixteen detainees who are members of the cell involved in manufacturing rockets and drones in the Hashemite Kingdom. However, he did not comment on the Jordanian law that prohibits citizens from possessing weapons outside the framework of the state, or manufacturing rockets and drones that could pose major threats to national security.

In a statement published on the “Ikhwan Site” website, Abdel Haq claimed that supporting the resistance is a religious duty and a source of pride for every Muslim, as repeatedly affirmed by Islamic scholars in their fatwas. He asserted that such support should not be criminalized or suppressed, since resistance against occupation is a legitimate right sanctioned by divine laws, recognized by international law, and aligned with Arab dignity and natural human instinct.

Abdel Haq also claimed that the label of terrorism no longer deceives public opinion due to its frequent and unjust misuse. He condemned the arrest of any activist, regardless of nationality, for standing in support of Palestine, and demanded the immediate release of anyone who lawfully expressed their stance in support of Gaza and the oppressed.

The General Guide expressed pride and admiration for all those who engage in resistance, especially the countries neighboring occupied Palestine. He warned that those who criminalize support for Gaza today are, by their silence or their stance, enabling the enemy to continue its crimes against innocent civilians.

The Brotherhood’s statement was widely circulated on social media by activists, who viewed it as an incitement against the Jordanian state.
