Arab unity and regional challenges
Arab security is indivisible, Gulf security is indivisible, and our supreme interest is not the interests of our particular States.
It is a common interest of peoples and States that are united by one blood bond, one language, one interest, albeit with different details, of entities belonging to the League of Arab States, and peoples that come together in adversity.
We are heartened by the Arab-Arab dialog and the meetings and mutual visits we are witnessing today, which are the basis for a different phase from the previous one, namely, cooperation within the framework of integration and a unified strategy in dealing with ideological and doctrinal terrorism and the consolidation of the values of tolerance, peace and humanity at their best. It also builds the foundations of regional cooperation in the face of fatal challenges that are of no concern to anyone else, as well as sympathy for us in the framework of an alliance or friendship.
We need to impose the will of our Arab coalition on the Iranian nuclear agreement so that its outputs will not be a burden on the Arab world again. We need the agreement not to return as it was a means to buy time, develop capabilities and sustain Iranian aggression through its tools in Iraq, Syria, Lebanon and Yemen. We also need to gather elements of strength in the face of blatant regional interference and direct occupation of parts of our Arab States.
All of the above reflects the unity of our battle against the interference of regional states, and the imperative to unify our will in the face of those controlled by the religious or Brotherhood extremist mentality, which are supported by the theories of establishing exclusionary rule.
The brief appearances of two senior Arab leaders, Mohammed bin Salman and Mohammed bin Zayed, are certainly linked to this vision, which is aimed at affirming the need to inspire a leadership vision that has succeeded in solidifying the status of the UAE and Saudi Arabia as capable regional players, and to expand the capabilities of both countries in stopping conflicts and resolving conflicts.
From Saudi Arabia’s vision and its internal immunization and foreign leadership, to the UAE’s determination to explore Mars and build the first Arab nuclear reactors, it is urgent to restore Iraq, Syria and Lebanon to the Arab incubator, to build the Arab dam wall in the face of the aspirations of the aspirants, and to put pressure on the Libyan government, all of these are necessary steps that, if implemented, will mean moving forward on the process of restoring Arab unity and forming the unified Arab framework.
