Egypt’s role in Gaza
After the protests of the Maqdisis and their clashes with the Israeli forces, which tried at the end of the month of Ramadan to confiscate houses and properties in the Sheik Jarrah district.

Egypt has regained its leadership and historical role and played a pivotal role in stopping this 11-day war, to confirm to everyone its influential role in the Palestinian cause and regional issues, and to prove that any regional projects will be useless in their absence, which led Washington to real reassess the situation and resort to Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and the Emirates, not Iran, Turkey, or others to stop this war which started with illusion and ended with unjustified human and financial losses.
Cairo was at the center of the event, and sent two security delegations to Gaza and Israel to oversee the ceasefire, and announced its readiness to provide half a billion dollars for the reconstruction of Gaza. This means, of course, that there is Arab support for Egypt, a bet on the return of the Egyptian role in the Gaza Strip, and saving it from the slogans and adventures of the Hamas movement, which is only interested in implementing a foreign agenda, in which the biggest loser is always the Palestinian.
It is important to call things by their names in the midst of this fake news, propaganda and organized agenda, because it is the state of peace in Egypt that saved Gaza, and not the fake resistance countries that tried to promote that the Arab countries that concluded peace treaties with Israel are the losers in this conflict, while the truth is that what happened will motivate the countries of the peace camp to play an important role in establishing security and bringing peace between the two states, and not a source of fear, shame or hesitation about the peace move, because there is no future for the region and its political, economic and security stability except with peace. This peace will not be achieved without the withdrawal of the Palestinian card from the so-called “axis of resistance” and the realistic analysis of the Palestinians on the one hand, and on the other hand, the conviction of Israel and the hard-extremists on the other hand, on the imperative of a just solution.
Egypt has stood honorable as a State of Peace and has been able to inject Palestinian blood, which means that the path to peace is most influential if we prepare the circumstances and seize the opportunities. The next stage requires continued Arab support for the Egyptian role, which was recognized by the United States and Israel, to work on stabilizing the truce between the Palestinian and Israeli sides, and the issue of reconstruction in the Gaza Strip, and creating the appropriate atmosphere for reviving the peace process, and relying on various international efforts to revive the current deadlock, in order to reach a comprehensive settlement of the Palestinian issue, in a way that prevents the renewal of future confrontations and the consolidation of peace and stability in the region.
