Spanish man kills his two daughters and throws their bodies into the sea in revenge for his ex-girlfriend

A preliminary judicial investigation into a case that rocked Spain and was published on Saturday revealed that a Spanish man killed his two daughters at home and dumped their bodies at sea.

The bodies were found at sea off the Spanish island of Tenerife.

The girls’ disappearance sparked angry demonstrations in several cities across the country on Friday.

“All of Spain is shocked,” Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez said during a visit to Costa Rica. “We offer our full support to families facing unbearable and unimaginable suffering. We categorically reject sexual violence.. violence, which some people still deny in our country.”

Thomas J., who is absent, is the main suspect in the disappearance of Olivia (6 years) and Anna (1 year) after failing to return the girls to their mother at the end of April under a prior agreement.

An international warrant for his arrest was issued by a court on Saturday.

According to a judicial document, the suspect killed the two girls at his home in Tenerife on April 27.

According to the document, the father drove the bodies of the two girls to his boat and dumped them at sea after putting them in a sports bag at about 10.30 p.m. that night.

“It was the accused’s plan to inflict maximum pain on his former partner that he could have imagined by deliberately creating a mystery about the fate of Olivia and Anna and what could be done to them at his hands,” the document said.

Olivia’s body was found Thursday in a sports bag, 1,000 meters down near where the father’s boat was found.

A court statement said a second sports bag was found at the site but was empty.

Investigators said that Thomas J. His boat returned to port after the bodies of the two children were thrown into the sea, but was stopped by a police patrol boat for violating the ban imposed due to coronavirus restrictions.

The father again left the port by his boat after midnight on April 28 and was never seen again.

According to the Canary Islands Supreme Court, a forensic report concluded that Olivia died of pulmonary dropout.
