This came during Al-Hajraf’s meeting with Yemeni Prime Minister Main Abdelmalek Said at the headquarters of the General Secretariat in Riyadh today.

Al-Hajraf stressed the GCC’s firm position in supporting Yemen and enhancing security and stability in its regions by supporting the Yemeni government’s efforts, as expressed in the final statement of the 42nd Gulf Summit held in Riyadh on Tuesday (December 14th, 2021).

Al-Hajraf said he valued the role and efforts of Abdelmalek and the Yemeni government as well as their work in the interim capital Aden.

He said the Yemeni people and the international community appreciate these efforts, especially the reform and anti-corruption efforts launched by the Yemeni government.

He expressed his wishes that he would continue to serve the Yemeni people and strengthen his efforts to establish legitimacy, security and stability throughout Yemen.

They also reviewed the efforts and initiatives of the GCC countries aimed at achieving security, stability and peace in Yemen, and discussed developments on the ground and UN efforts to end the conflict, as well as efforts to support Yemen in all its aspects of prosperity and well-being.
