Al-Ahram Al-Arabi magazine published a special issue, on Saturday, commemorating the 50th anniversary of the founding of the UAE.

The editor-in-chief of Al-Ahram Al-Arabi magazine, Jamal Al-Kashki, praised the “strength of the historical relations between the Arab Republic of Egypt and the United Arab Emirates, the pillars of which were laid by Sheikh Zayed ben Sultan Al Nahyane since the establishment of the State of the Union on 2 December 1971”, in the editorial entitled “Half a century signed by Sheikh Zayed.. Egypt and the United Arab Emirates have strategic relations”.

The author reviews the half-century that has passed since the creation of the United Arab Emirates, as well as the imprint of the founder who is still strongly present in the spirit and consciousness of the Arab world, and the history rich in enlightening events between the rulers and the people of both countries. The magazine covered a number of topics, highlighting the progress and successes that the UAE has achieved on the Union March.

As he reviewed the history of the Founding Fathers and the wise direction of the country, which is inspired by the “Arab sage” Sheikh Zayed ben Sultan Al Nahyane, may God rest his soul.

The magazine highlighted the path of tolerance and human brotherhood and the document that was signed in this regard, which became a constitution for understanding and coexistence, noting the strength of the UAE economy, which is considered the most diverse and wealthy in the region, and the digitisation that affected all state institutions and laid the foundations for progress and rise to space. In the midst of these issues, Emirati women have been a prominent element present, due to their prominent and well-established position in many fields, as well as thé Emirati cinema, which is moving steadily towards global recognition.
