Al-Islah party repeats Houthi violations, crimes in liberated areas
Areas controlled by the Muslim Brotherhood…Repetition of Houthi violations against the population
As evidenced by numerous of reports on human rights and the media, numerous violations are practiced by the Al-Islah Party, the Yemeni branch of the Muslim Brotherhood, against their opponents in their zones of control in Yemen, violations which the inhabitants of these zones regard as a repetition of the practices of the Houthi terrorist militia, such that they are subject to repression, abuse and extortion.
Among these areas is Shabwa Governorate in southeast Yemen, where violations have escalated after their invasion by Al-Islah party forces, between the killing of protesters in cold blood, the launching of vast campaigns of arrest and looting of public and private property, leading to the destruction of state institutions and the arbitrary dismissal and replacement of employees belonging to other political currents. Along with loyal elements, the governorate also experienced a state of security chaos and the return of al-Qaeda elements.
Besides Shabwa, the same methods were repeated who are controlled by the Al-Islah party in a number of Yemeni governorates, to administer these liberated areas and the Brotherhood’s political and military incursion, and tighten the screws on other political components.
The behavior of the Yemeni Brethren in the management of some Yemeni governorates is reminiscent of the way in which the Houthis manage the areas under their control, in terms of similarity of means, tools, political objectives and agendas, as they exhausts the citizens by imposing various financial taxes on them in order to finance their military, political and media activities collecting illegal royalties on trucks on the road between Al-Jawf and Marib.
Human rights and media reports have indicated the proliferation of secret prisons that do not belong to the Interior Ministry in the aforementioned governorate, as these prisons are supervised by security personnel in the secret apparatus. Brotherhood or by powerful tribal and security leaders and former detainees have been tortured and mistreated in these prisons. This caused the deaths of some of them, and observers have said that what reaches the media and circulates on social media about the practices and violations practiced by the Iceberg Brothers, as many issues are hidden and blocked by the media.
The Brotherhood has pursued a policy of manufacturing crises against the southerners, since the signing of the Riyadh Accord on November 5, when this path works to eradicate the political and military influence of the Brotherhood and to control the war against the militia Houthi, which generated many Brotherhood efforts to bomb this road.
The occupied areas in the south have witnessed what we can consider a black terrorist boom, and many extremist groups are currently sponsored there, bringing in takfiri elements from the north of Marib and Al-Bayda, in addition to exploit the difficult living conditions of the southerners, in order to recruit them and join them in the Puritan camps of the Brotherhood, before this is accomplished by sending them into the ranks of Al-Qaeda and non-Al-Qaeda, and in this regard, they played pure Brotherhood associations, elevating the slogan of charitable work and support for terrorism, including, for example, Al-Islah Association, Badia and Al-Rahma Association and others.
