An unprecedented revolt within the Muslim Brotherhood organization after the choice of “Munir” as interim supreme leader

An unprecedented revolt within the Muslim Brotherhood organization after the choice of “Munir” as interim supreme leader
In a quick solution to the arrest of “Mahmoud Ezzat”, who is the interim supreme leader in Egypt,
the Muslim Brotherhood organization announced “Ibrahim Munir” as its successor.
This new choice provoked anger within the youth movement who refused the performance of the previous guard
because for the first time the guide is chosen from outside Egypt and he didn’t choose by the election of the Shura Council of the organization.
Ahmed Kamel Al-Buhairi, researcher specializing in Islamic movements:
“The departments of the previous guard of the brothers decided to choose Ibrahim Munir as interim supreme leader, because he is the person who has all the criteria according to the vision of the leaders, and not the vision of the younger generation”.
So observers expected that the consequences of Ibrahim Munir’s selection would not stop to the point of anger among the youth of the organization
but a revolt will occur, and entire sectors, whether for offices or entire families, will leave the group.
This revolt will not be the first, but it was preceded by many cases
especially in 1996 after what has been called the famous “serious engagement”.
there was also another wave of revolt in 2009 after the crisis of Guidance office
with the previous head of the Muslim Brotherhood Muhammad Habib and Abdel Moneim Abul Fotouh
and also the 2015 revolt in the context of the crisis between the group of Muhammad Kamal and Mahmoud Ezzat at that time.
Will the 2020 rebellion be the biggest?
