Arab Coalition Destroys Drone Launched Towards Abha Airport

The Coalition to Restore Legitimacy in Yemen said on Thursday 12 civilians were injured as shrapnel from a destroyed drone landed in the area surrounding Abha airport.

Saudi air defenses intercepted and destroyed the drone launched towards the airport, said the Arab Coalition.

It added that it would take operational measures in response to the threat of targeting civilian airports and travelers.

It later said that air traffic resumed at the airport after the attempted drone attack.
