Fourth new front – Disintegration within the terrorist Muslim Brotherhood organization abroad

The Brotherhood’s recent splintering into three fronts – the Istanbul Front led by Mahmoud Hussein, the London Front led by Mohieddin al-Zayt, who succeeded Ibrahim Munir, and the Youth Movement, which called itself the Movement for Change and started from Turkey – has led to the emergence of a fourth front within the London Front.

The Fate of the Group

Former Muslim Brotherhood leader and researcher on terrorist groups Ibrahim Rabie said the Fourth Front of the Brotherhood asserts that what the group is witnessing is a state of collapse and disintegration. He said the Youth Front called for official restriction and codification of the group’s funds, which leaves no room to deposit them with specific individuals in a new challenge to the group and its leaders.

The former Muslim Brotherhood leader added that the Fourth Front’s actions represent a challenge to the organization and its current orders, pointing out that this shows a major split within the Brotherhood in the near future.

Rabie said the collapse and the Brotherhood’s schism will expand and lead to schisms within the Brotherhood abroad, and raise concerns about the fate of the current leadership of the terrorist group, especially in light of the movement of a new front of young people and the continuing escalation against leaders they see as having not achieved any demands in recent years.
