GCC: Yemeni lands will not settle unless people work together
GCC Ambassador to Yemen Sarhan al-Munaikhir said all political entities in Yemen are present at the Riyadh consultations.
The parties to the Yemeni consultations do not want to waste any more time, al-Munaikhir said, adding that Yemeni territory will not be stable without the concerted efforts of its people.
Saudi aid has been an essential pillar of the stability of Yemen’s exchange rate, he said.
The Gulf Co-operation Council is ready to support the Yemen-Yemen roadmap, which will be announced tomorrow, he said.
The Riyadh Consultations, which began last Wednesday, opened a window of hope for the eighth year of the Houthi war, giving the parties and forces of Yemen an opportunity to thaw their differences and correct the future battle for peace or war in the event that the coups continue to reject the peace efforts.
