Historical Injustice… Egypt Rejects Israel’s Plans to Displace Palestinians

Egypt has firmly rejected Israeli plans to displace the Palestinian people from their lands, whether in the Gaza Strip or the West Bank.
The Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated its categorical refusal of any Israeli plans to displace the Palestinian people from their historic land, whether in Gaza or the West Bank, under any pretexts, justifications, or designations, whether through forced displacement or voluntary displacement carried out by means of starvation policies, land confiscation, settlement expansion, and making life impossible on Palestinian land.
In a statement issued on Sunday, the ministry said that “the Arab Republic of Egypt has followed with deep concern recent reports about Israeli consultations with certain countries regarding the acceptance of Palestinians from Gaza into their territories, within the framework of a rejected Israeli policy aimed at emptying Palestinian land of its rightful inhabitants, occupying it, and liquidating the Palestinian cause.”
Egypt added that its communications with the countries allegedly willing to receive Palestinians confirmed their rejection of such unacceptable schemes.
Egypt once again reiterated its categorical rejection of any Israeli plans to displace the Palestinian people from their historic land, whether in Gaza or the West Bank, under any justification whatsoever, whether by forced or voluntary means through policies of starvation, land confiscation, settlement expansion, and making life impossible on Palestinian soil.
It affirmed that it will not accept or participate in such displacement, considering it a historical injustice devoid of any moral or legal justification, and that it will not allow it, since it would inevitably lead to the liquidation of the Palestinian cause.
Egypt called on all peace-loving countries not to become complicit in this immoral crime, which violates all principles of international humanitarian law, constitutes a war crime and ethnic cleansing, and represents a flagrant breach of the four Geneva Conventions.
It warned against the historical and legal responsibility that would fall upon any party involved in this heinous crime, as well as the political consequences and repercussions it would entail at both the regional and international levels.
