Houthis resort to lies to justify truce violations… How has the ‘Arab Coalition’ responded?

The Houthi terrorist militias have found no justification for their violations of the UN-brokered truce and have tried to falsely accuse the Saudi-led Arab coalition of conducting airstrikes on their positions.

In a statement published today by the Saudi Press Agency, the Arab coalition denied the allegations of the Houthi militias affiliated to Iran about the coalition’s carrying out airstrikes in Dhale, stressing that they are “baseless”.

The coalition said: “Coalition airstrikes stopped as the truce took effect”, he said, adding that he was “taking full measures to consolidate and support the truce between the Yemeni parties”.

The head of the negotiating delegation in the terrorist militias, Mohamed Abd Al-Salam, accused the Arab coalition yesterday of not adhering to the terms of the truce in effect in Yemen, justifying the group’s disagreement with the UN proposal to open the roads by linking the file to the military situation and the ceasefire.

The UN truce included a halt to offensive military operations by land, sea, and air inside and across Yemen, and a meeting between the parties to agree on opening roads in Taiz and other governorates to improve the freedom of movement of people within Yemen.

The Yemeni army has documented thousands of violations committed by Houthi militias in all cities and regions of Yemen, including assassinations, targeting with weapons and drones, attempts to penetrate military sites, construction of trenches, and the relocation of Houthi forces.
