In the face of crises… UAE humanitarian state and unconditional support

‘Human First’ is a slogan raised by the United Arab Emirates in its dealings with various countries of the world. Recently, it has become more than a mere slogan, as it has become a strategy followed by the Emirates without geographical, ethnic or religious discrimination. The UAE has become the first country to support humanity in confronting crises in general and terrorism in particular, and it is not stopped by previous differences.

Fierce attack

The United Arab Emirates places humanitarian assistance at the top of its priorities, and then reconstruction and restoration of normalcy come to the situation in Afghanistan, which is what happened recently after GAAC was assigned security screening of passengers and luggage at airports in Kabul, Herat West, Kandahar South and Mazar-i-Sharif North, according to a joint statement by the company with the Afghan Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation. However, the matter did not pass unnoticed, as the terrorist States of Qatar and Iran launched systematic campaigns against the UAE and GAAC, for their interests in Afghanistan and for fear of diminishing their roles. Each country aspired to win the firms’ costs and the offer was bigger than the UAE’s offer, but the goal was to have them in highly sensitive places that would allow them to pass weapons to support terrorist organizations in Afghanistan, where Iran, Qatar and Afghanistan were the centers of a systematic war of distortion against the UAE, and to seek to prevent UAE aid without paying attention to the situation of the Afghan people.

Ulterior target

The New York Times pointed out that Iran began to seek to expand towards Afghanistan and reach the Islamic Central Asian Republics and the Caspian Sea region by relying on the Taliban movement, which was described as the most hostile to the state of the legal guardian. This enmity turned into full cooperation between Tehran and Al-Qaeda to achieve their goals in the Arab region.

The negotiations between Qatar and Turkey to get the deal were marred by their desire to control Afghan security. They demanded to have a say and a role in managing security at Kabul airport, which thwarted the deal and made the UAE’s offer, which is not aimed at achieving any political or security gain, and which does not have any hidden objectives, the best of which is especially with the UAE company asserting that its first goal is to operate the airport professionally to revive the collapsed Afghan economy.

Emirati efforts

The UAE has provided a lot of assistance to many countries, foremost among them helping the Afghan people, who are struggling to die as a result of terrorist and extremist groups in the country, which exacerbates many economic crises.

Terrorist groups in Afghanistan have caused an unprecedented increase in economic crises. This has prompted the UAE to provide a helping hand to the famine-prone Afghan people if the international community does not stand together and support them.

UAE President Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan called for the continuation of the UAE air bridge to support the Afghan people and to intensify the aid that benefits tens of thousands of Afghan families. The UAE also hosted more than 9,000 Afghan citizens who were evacuated, in addition to more than 40,000 Afghans living in the UAE.

The UAE has a track record of humanitarian aid to many affected countries, the most recent of which was the countries that suffered from the Coronavirus crisis, as well as the Ukrainian people in the war with Russia, humanitarian aid to the earthquake-affected people in Afghanistan, humanitarian aid planes to South Africa, the foundation stone for three charitable projects worth 27.6 million dirhams in Serbia, the foundation stone was laid for the construction of a diagnostic hospital, a school, a kindergarten, and the construction of a series of hospitals for Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan in Morocco, Lebanon, Qatar, the Comoros, Kazakhstan and Pakistan.
