Israel Announces Arrest of Hamas Operatives – Details of the Night Operation in Syria

A nighttime operation by the Israeli military in Syria has resulted in the arrest of Hamas operatives.

This was announced by Israeli army spokesperson Avichay Adraee on his account on X (formerly Twitter).

Adraee stated that forces from the “Alexandroni” Brigade, operating under Division 210, conducted an operation last night to arrest Hamas members who were “active in the Beit Jinn area of Syria.”

According to him, the operation was carried out based on intelligence gathered in recent weeks, and the Israeli forces conducted a precise nighttime raid inside Syria, during which several Hamas operatives were detained.

The military spokesperson said the arrested individuals had been attempting to advance various plans targeting Israeli civilians and forces operating in Syria.

The detainees have been transferred into Israel for further interrogation by Unit 504.

Additionally, Israeli forces found and confiscated military equipment in the area, including firearms, ammunition magazines, and various types of munitions, according to the same military statement.
