Jordan’s king Abdullah II reiterates condemnation of Houthi attacks on UAE
Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Sheik Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan discussed with Jordan’s King Abdullah II the brotherly relations between the two countries and ways of cooperation and joint action in various areas that serve their mutual interests.
The two sides discussed all regional and international developments and issues of common concern and exchanged views on them, stressing the continuation of coordination and consultation on various issues, for the benefit of the two countries and their brotherly peoples, WAM reported.
Sheik Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan reiterated his thanks and appreciation for Jordan’s strong stance in condemning the terrorist attacks on the UAE and its solidarity with it, stressing that this position comes within the framework of Jordan’s honorable role towards brothers and friends throughout its history.
During the meeting, King Abdullah II expressed his pride in the strong historical brotherly relations between the UAE and Jordan and their brotherly peoples.
Jordan stands in solidarity with the UAE in the face of threats to its security and stability, Petra reported.
The King of Jordan renewed his condemnation of the Houthi attacks on the United Arab Emirates, stressing that the security of the United Arab Emirates is Jordan’s security.
Earlier yesterday, King Abdullah II arrived in the United Arab Emirates for an official visit, accompanied by Queen Rania Al Abdullah.
The High Committee for Human Brotherhood announced yesterday the selection of Jordan’s King Abdullah II and Queen Rania Al-Abdullah to honor them with the Zayed Prize for Human Brotherhood in its 2022 edition, in recognition of their efforts to promote human brotherhood, respect for diversity and peaceful coexistence, and in support of maintaining the continuity of these efforts for human dignity and tolerance.
