Member of several Muslim Brotherhood Organizations… What do you know about Tunisian Dorsaf Ben Dhiab?
Despite not taking a prominent organizational leadership role or participating in the decision-making process or orientations, Islamist organizations have united on their stances regarding women, considering them as the guarantor for the continuity of the organization and the main nucleus of its social incubators.
Tunisian Dorsaf Ben Dhiab, who holds French nationality, is considered one of the arms of this organization. She is a member of several organizations affiliated with it and is a well-known activist in the field of advocating for the issues of Muslim women, empowerment, and civic participation for Muslims in France and at the European level.
She holds a master’s degree in contemporary French literature from the University of Lille III and works as an administrative manager in a private engineering company, according to the definition provided by the Arab Center for the Study of Extremism.
She participated in the establishment of the European Forum for Muslim Women, the European women’s wing of the international Muslim Brotherhood organization. She has been a member of its board since its launch in 2006, holding various leadership positions: project manager, policy officer, general secretary, and then president from 2020 to 2022. Currently, she serves as the general secretary of the forum.
