On Army Day… Iran displays its new weapons
During a ceremony marking Army Day in the Islamic Republic, the Iranian military paraded new weapons and war equipment.
The Iranian army presented the new generation of the Dezful anti-aircraft system, the precision Fateh missile, and the marches of Ababil 5 and Violin 22 as its latest achievements in the defense field, according to the Tasnim news agency.
The military parade began this morning in Tehran in the presence of President Ebrahim Raisi, the representative of the Supreme Leader in the Iranian Army, Abbas Mohammad Hosny, the Chief of General Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces, Major General Abdul Rahim Mousavi, the Commander of the Revolutionary Guards, Major General Hossein Salami, and a number of commanders of the armed forces.
The Army Ground Force combat and armored units marched in front of the main platform, Army Aviation helicopters and Air Force fighters flew, and Air Defense Force and defense systems and naval equipment loaded with trailers were reviewed.
Some local achievements and equipment such as drones, air, sea and land missiles were displayed.
The ceremony is held simultaneously in Tehran and all Iranian cities.
Speaking at the ceremony, Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi warned that the slightest movement by the enemies will not be hidden from the eyes of our armed forces, pointing out that the solidarity of the Islamic Republic Army with the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps constitutes strong arms of the supreme command of the armed forces.
