A wedding ceremony for Qassem Soleimani’s daughter will be held in Doha in the presence of Sheikha Moza al-Missned, wife of the former emir of Qatar, Sheikh Hamad Khalifa al-Thani, an Iranian website reported today.
The website said that the wedding of Zeinab Soleimani from an unnamed Qatari prince will be held next Friday in Doha, 6 August 2021
Some newspapers had published rumors about her marriage to Sayed Reza Safieddine, which was neither confirmed nor denied at the time, leading to a wider circulation of news.
Reza Safieddine is the son of Hashem Safieddine. He is more than 50 years old, he is a senior member of the terrorist group Hezbollah and a cousin of Hassan Nasrallah’s mother, the second person in the group after him.
The bride is the daughter of terrorist Qassem Soleimani, the head of Iran’s Revolutionary Guard, who was killed in a US drone strike near Baghdad International Airport on 3 January last year, in a severe blow to the Iranian regime, which considers Soleimani one of its main pillars.
Qatar has strong ties with the Iranian regime and its Revolutionary Guard, relations that were consolidated years ago with Doha providing support. The Washington Examiner newspaper said that the United States has opened an investigation into Qatar’s financing of terrorist groups, including the Iranian Revolutionary Guard.
The issue of Qatar’s funding of the IRGC’s activities was first raised during a meeting at the White House last month between US President Joe Biden and former Israeli President Reuven Rivlin, according to Time of Israel.
Several State press reports have confirmed the Qatari regime’s connection with financing terrorist groups and the Iranian Revolutionary Guard to implement its destructive agenda in the region.
