Qatar – The health condition of former Qatar Emir Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani deteriorates

News is leaking out that the health of the former Emir of Qatar, Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, has deteriorated. A hospital in Doha has been placed in a state of emergency for reasons that are still unknown.

A source from the Amiri Diwan told QLeaks that Hamad bin Khalifa was hospitalized from the early hours of the morning, but that there was a big blackout, as a result of tremendous tension within the ruling family due to differences among them over sharing the cake, which could destabilize the rule of Emir Tamim himself and remove him from power.

The source also confirmed that the Emir, Sheik Tamim bin Hamad, fears that a move supported by the Muslim Brotherhood would overthrow him, because of the reduction of funding for them after Erdogan betrayed them and expelled many of them from Turkish territories.

In addition, there are changes in the positions of doctors and nurses within the country’s hospitals, including qualified doctors, and Qataris and patients who were left without treatment are surprised by these strange procedures.

Only reliable doctors close to the ruling family are allowed to see the state of health and oversee the treatment of Hamad bin Khalifa, accompanied by security personnel and the prince’s bodyguards.

Hamad bin Khalifa has been in poor health for years, with symptoms of illness and physical exhaustion long ago.

Hamad entered the hospitals of many countries previously, including Switzerland and the United States, and spent days in intensive care departments. Qatari media always hid all news related to Hamad bin Khalifa’s health condition. His wife, Moza bint Nasser Al-Missned, posts the pictures that reunites her with her husband, as an insurance way to absorb the shock of the Qatari people and to try to ease tension and any unaccounted movement in the ruling family.

Because of Qatar’s media blackout about Hamad bin Khalifa’s health and illness, several rumors have emerged that he died.

However, the QLeaks source inside the Amiri Diwan confirms that what is happening today inside the corridors of the Qatari palaces, supports the reality of the deterioration of the health condition of the former Emir, as this tension that is taking place in Doha is unprecedented.

Hamad bin Khalifa was born on January 1, 1952. He is the former Emir of the State of Qatar, and father of Tamim bin Hamad, the current Emir. He assumed power on June 27, 1995 after he overthrew his father, Khalifa bin Hamad Al Thani, and remained in power until he ceded power to his son, Sheik Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, on June 25, 2013.
