Saudi crown prince, UK foreign minister explore the regional developments


A number of issues, foremost among them is joint cooperation and the latest developments in the region, topped the meeting between the Saudi Crown Prince and the British Foreign Secretary.

Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed ben Salmane ben Abdelaziz and British Foreign Minister Dominique Rapp met on Monday in his office in Nihm.

The two sides reviewed bilateral relations and aspects of joint cooperation in various fields. They also discussed the latest developments in the Middle East and efforts to strengthen security and stability in the region, the official Saudi Press Agency reported.

The meeting was also attended by Prince Khalid bin Bandar bin Sultan ben Abdelaziz, Saudi Arabia’s ambassador to the United Kingdom, Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan and Trade Minister Majid ben Abdullah Al Qasabi, the news agency said.

On the UK side, Ambassador Neil Crompton and other officials attended.

Saudi Arabia and Britain enjoy strategic relations and a firm partnership, which have been demonstrated by their positions and mutual visits over the decades.
