Sudan condemns Houthi rebels attack on Abu Dhabi
Sudan condemned the terrorist attack that targeted civilian facilities in the United Arab Emirates by the Houthi terrorist militia, affirming its solidarity with the brotherly country.
This came during a telephone conversation between Chairman of the Transitional Sovereignty Council in Sudan Abdel Fattah Al Burhan and Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi Sheikh Mohammed ben Zayed Al Nahyane, deputy supreme commander of the UAE armed forces.
According to the official Emirates News Agency, during the phone call, al-Burhan offered his condolences to Sheikh Mohammed ben Zayed Al Nahyane, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
Al-Burhan condemned the attacks carried out by the Houthi terrorist militia on civilian sites and facilities in the United Arab Emirates, which resulted in a number of civilian deaths and injuries.
He stressed Sudan’s support for the UAE against all those who target its security and stability.
Al-Burhan briefed Sheikh Mohammed ben Zayed Al Nahyane on the latest developments in the Sudan and the ongoing efforts to address the political crisis and complete the structures of the transitional period.
Arab and Western countries and regional and international organizations have repeatedly condemned the terrorist aggression launched by Houthi militias targeting civilian facilities in the Emirati capital Abu Dhabi.
The United Arab Emirates, through its Foreign Ministry, said the attack by Houthi militias “will not go unpunished”.
“The UAE reserves the right to react to these terrorist attacks and this heinous criminal escalation”, it said, describing these attacks as a heinous crime carried out by Houthi militias outside international and humanitarian laws.
