The Houthi terrorist militia continues to commit crimes against the Yemeni people

The Yemeni people have been suffering continuously over the past years due to the continuous violations and crimes committed by the Houthis against civilians, as well as the continuous violations against women, children and men in many areas of Yemen. This has caused great Arab anger due to the continuous suffering of Yemenis as Eid Al-Fitr approaches.

Houthi crimes

Abdul Sattar al-Shimri, a Yemeni analyst and head of the Yemen Center for Political Studies and Research, said the Yemeni people are living in continuous suffering as a result of the continuous crimes of the Houthi terrorist group, which is committing the most heinous crimes and violations against innocent Yemeni citizens. This is in light of the international silence and the failure to take any decisions against this terrorist militia that violates the rights of the Yemeni people.

The Yemeni political analyst added that what the Houthi terrorist militia is doing requires decisive international action and sanctions against this terrorist group that violates the rights of civilians of the Yemeni people. He explained that the Iranian-backed militias have committed more than 5,000 humanitarian crimes against unarmed civilians in 18 governorates, ranging from enforced disappearances to arrests and torture, with the entry of Eid Al-Fitr and the continuation of Houthi violations during the month of Ramadan despite the commitment of the Arab coalition and the Yemeni army.

Violation of international law

Yemeni human rights activist and analyst Abdul Hafeez Nahari said: “The Houthis have committed a series of violations amounting to war crimes in violation of international law, domestic laws, and international conventions and treaties, as part of Iran’s plans to wreak havoc in the region and to target the security and stability of the region”.

The Yemeni analyst added: “The crimes of the Houthi terrorist group include murder, torture, kidnapping, arbitrary arrest and enforced disappearance, he said, adding that international silence over militia crimes will prolong the suffering of the Yemeni people and turn the country into a hotbed of terrorism and cause many disasters in the region”.
