The Houthis and the Yemeni Muslim Brotherhood visit Hamas Office in Sanaa… What are their real objectives?

The Houthi group and the Muslim Brotherhood continue their solidarity activities with the Palestinian people, aiming to maintain the momentum of fundraising and exploiting the Yemeni people in the name of the Palestinian cause.

According to the Palestinian Media Center, a joint delegation composed of the Houthi group and the Yemeni Reform Assembly (the Muslim Brotherhood‘s arm in Yemen) visited the office of the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas in Sanaa the day before yesterday, declaring their solidarity with the movement and the “Storm Al-Aqsa” battle.

The acting representative of Hamas in Yemen, Muath Abu Shamlah, welcomed the joint visiting delegation, considering the visit as “representing the aspirations of the nation for unity and progress towards its fundamental goal and supporting it in its current battle.”

Abu Shamlah affirmed that “the image of unity in the joint delegation lifts the morale of our people and their determination in the battle against this criminal Zionist enemy, and it requires all the sons of our nation to unite also for its central issues.” He continued: “Today, we meet after the event that shook the world, through which the resistance was able to shatter the image of the Zionist entity in front of its people and the whole world, and brought the Palestinian issue back to its peak.

On their part, members of the joint delegation delivered speeches expressing their full solidarity with the Palestinian cause and resistance, emphasizing the necessity of rallying around the Palestinian issue and setting aside all differences.

The delegation members explained that the Palestinian resistance, led by Hamas, “etched the name of resistance in pages of light, making every free person in the world proud of it.”

During the meeting, the joint delegation stated that they “will continue to support, advocate, and call for unity in support of our central cause, Palestine. What is happening now is the beginning of the road to reclaiming the stolen rights, and they will not forsake any resistor on the land of Palestine.”

It is worth mentioning that the Houthis and the Muslim Brotherhood have launched fundraising campaigns since the start of the Israeli aggression on Gaza to support Palestinians, collecting significant amounts of money from citizens, which observers consider as a method added to the Houthis‘ strategies to replenish their budget.
