The UAE supports the values of tolerance coexistence and joint development work
The United Arab Emirates is keen to remain a key incubator of the values of tolerance, peace and multiculturalism in a world of turbulence, conflict and hatred. Therefore, the wise leadership has always sought to ensure that all laws that define the internal and external policies of the State serve as a reference for tolerance, justice, fairness, protection of rights and the definition of duties. This has ensured respect and appreciation to all, and has criminalized hatred, intolerance and the various causes of division and discord. Today, it is one of the most prominent partners and signatories of all international conventions and treaties that renounce violence, extremism and all forms of discrimination.
The creation of this safe environment has made the UAE a suitable place to host many international events that study the future of humanity and lay the foundations for its stability, development and prosperity. When the observer noticed today that the UAE has received various world leaders and presidents to attend the General Assembly meeting of the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) and the Future Energy Summit, which are held in the capital Abou Dabi, it became clear to him the place it has come to occupy in formulating development policies and promoting sustainability in the world, which includes the sustainability of peace, the sustainability of economic development and the sustainability of giving.
This approach was clearly expressed by H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, May God Protect Him, during his meeting with H.H. President of the UN General Assembly at its 72 session, Miroslav Lajčák, who is attending the IRENA General Assembly meeting in Abou Dabi, where His Highness confirmed that the United Arab Emirates is working with various international organizations aimed at crystallizing ideas and efforts that are in the interest of comprehensive and sustainable development of various countries and peoples, out of its keenness to help the countries of the world achieve their humanitarian goals. His Highness added that the UAE, through its policy and model in the region, is sending positive messages on the need for tolerance, coexistence and joint development work to address many of the challenges facing us collectively within the international community.
The UAE’s recognition of the importance of developing development and security strategies and its constant pursuit of hosting world summits and leaders is not only aimed at serving its own development agenda, but also serves the interests of its brothers in the region, based on the unity of destiny and overlapping interests, as expressed by H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of Dubai, Ruler of Dubai, May God protect him, when he spoke of the importance of consolidating the foundations of security, stability and social well-being in the UAE and the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, during a meeting with H.H. Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud Al Saud, the Saudi Interior Minister. His Highness spoke about the continuous coordination and consultation between the concerned authorities of the two sides in the fields of security cooperation and coordination between the Ministries of Interior and the security and police services of the two brotherly countries, which will bring good, happiness and tranquility to the peoples of Saudi Arabia and the UAE.
The wise leadership of the United Arab Emirates has been keen to embody the values of tolerance and dialog. It will continue to work through the global initiatives launched in the service of humanity, whether in the areas of combatting violent extremism or leading initiatives in the field of international cooperation and global integration, or in consolidating the values of cohesion, interdependence and respect throughout the world and serving its economic interests. This concern reflects a general call on all religions and nations to respect each other in order to promote peaceful coexistence, safe and secure living, the dissemination of shared values, the exchange of cultures and experiences in addressing the violence and terrorism the world is facing, as well as support for development projects and the financing of economic initiatives in various countries of the world. With this effort, the UAE will continue to be crowned champion and will continue to rank first in many economic indicators globally.
