Tunisia raises the red card against international forces supporting the Muslim Brotherhood – Details

The Brotherhood and allied mafia gangs are linked to foreign and colonial projects aimed at dismembering Arab states and sustaining chaos, which is why they are internationally sponsored, have a network of relationships, financial resources, and influences on decision-makers there, and have been adept at soliciting outside intervention.

Tunisian Rejection of foreign intervention

A report by Roaya network revealed that one path announced by Tunisian President Kais Saied on more than one occasion is not to go back to the period before July 25, 2021. Observers believe that foreign pressures are in part a push for their return, which is strongly countered by Kais Saied.

In this regard, the Tunisian Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed its total rejection of any external interference in its internal affairs and in the work of the judicial institution, following the tweet published by the Department of Near Eastern Affairs of the United States Department of State, stressing that Tunisia is keen to abide by this principle in its relations with all friendly countries.

European Intervention

In a statement, the United States expressed concern about the “arrest and continued detention of political figures, saying that it joins the voices of Tunisians calling for a fair and transparent judicial process for all.”

The European Parliament called on the Tunisian authorities to “immediately release” the journalist and the director of the private radio station Noureddine Bautar, and “other detained persons,” condemning the “inclinations” of President Kais Saied. This was considered the strongest speech by the European legislature against the current political process, while internal rejection of such interference is mounting.

Brotherhood Terrorism

Dr. Mondher Kafrash, a Tunisian political analyst, says that foreign interventions in Tunisia are the usual terrorist attempts of the Muslim Brotherhood. He wonders if European countries do not know about the cases of those terrorists from Ennahda, most notably the attempts to overthrow the government, by inflaming the social situation and causing chaos at night, taking advantage of some parties inside the presidential palace. However, the Tunisian security forces and intelligence services were able to foil this plan by tracking their calls, communications, and steps, in addition to their involvement in terrorism, assassinations, and corruption.

The Tunisian political analyst added: Tunisian President Kais Saied’s insistence on the sovereignty of the Tunisian state is in order to boycott any attempt to pressure for the return of the Muslim Brotherhood to power, within the vision of the new state that is based on not confusing religion with politics, pointing out that the Tunisian people support the President in his decision against this terrorist movement that has pursued corruption and terrorism in the land.
