Turkish forces arrested an ISIS terrorist listed on “red list”


The Turkish authorities had arrested a terrorist belonging to the “Islamic State” organization, included in the “red list” of wanted persons, while he was trying to cross illegally from Syria to Turkey.

The Turkish Defense Ministry announced, Monday, the arrest of an ISIS terrorist on the “red list” of wanted individuals.

The ministry said in a statement posted to its website, that the arrest took place while the element was trying to cross illegally from Syria to Turkey.

Border guards arrested two people who were trying to cross into our country illegally from Syria, one of whom is a member of ISIS and is on the red list.

Two of the detainees are members of ISIS, and one of them is on the red list of people wanted by the Turkish authorities, it said.

The list of most wanted terrorists in Turkey includes five sub-lists: Red, Blue, Green, Orange and Gray.
