UAE condemns Burkina Faso terrorist attacks
The United Arab Emirates (UAE) strongly condemned on Tuesday the two terrorist attacks that took place in Burkina Faso, killing dozens of innocent people.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the United Arab Emirates expresses its strong condemnation of these criminal acts and its permanent rejection of all forms of violence and terrorism aimed at destabilizing security and stability and contrary to humanitarian values and principles.
The UAE Foreign Ministry expressed its sincere condolences to the Government and friendly people of Burkina Faso and to the families and relatives of the victims of this heinous crime.
At least 15 civilians were killed in a terrorist attack on Sunday night in north-eastern Burkina Faso.
“Armed individuals attacked the civilian population in Boraso, an area near Didogo”, said the head of Kosi district, adding that a security source put the toll at “15 victims”, including children.
