UAE condemns Houthi attempts to target Jizan
The United Arab Emirates has condemned attempts by Houthi terrorist militias to target civilian areas in Saudi Jizan.
In a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation on Friday, the UAE said that the continuation of these terrorist attacks against the Houthi group reflects its blatant defiance of the international community and its disregard of all international laws and norms.
The Ministry urged the international community to take an immediate and decisive stance to stop these repeated acts targeting vital and civilian installations, the security of the Kingdom, energy supplies and the stability of the global economy.
The statement also stressed that the recent continuation of these attacks is a dangerous escalation, and is new evidence that these militias are seeking to undermine security and stability in the region.
The Ministry reiterated the UAE’s full solidarity with the Kingdom in the face of these terrorist attacks and its support for all measures taken to preserve the security and safety of its citizens and residents.
The UAE and Saudi Arabia’s security is indivisible, and any threat or danger facing the kingdom is considered by the state as a threat to its security and stability, the statement said.
