UAE: Terrorist attacks in the UAE reveal Al Jazeera’s intentions and Qatar’s support for Houthi militias

Al-Jazeera channel dealt with the terrorist incident carried out by the Houthi militia against the United Arab Emirates on Monday in a manner devoid of media professionalism and in violation of all moral standards, for the clear bias of the terrorist militia.

In the early hours of the bombings, the channel broadcast a report containing three guests, all of whom are Houthi loyalists in Yemen. It is noteworthy that the most prominent of them was the military spokesman for the terrorist militia, who issued statements bearing direct threats against the United Arab Emirates by carrying out operations in the coming days deep inside the Emirates.

The terrorist militia’s military spokesman said that peace with the Arab coalition countries has become impossible, which goes against and defies international demands for peace in Yemen, especially those recently affirmed by the UAE and Saudi Arabia.

Al Jazeera ignored the international Arab statements that came out in support of the UAE and instead sought to give the Houthi terrorist militia a chance.

The Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned the attack on Abou Dabi airport, saying that the explosions that targeted the airport are a terrorist attack, and vowed to repel all Houthi attacks.

The Saudi Foreign Ministry said in a statement: “We condemn in the strongest terms the cowardly terrorist attack that targeted the Abu Dhabi International Airport in the United Arab Emirates, which resulted in a number of deaths and injuries”, stressing Riyadh’s “full solidarity with the United Arab Emirates in the face of all threats to its security and stability”.

“This terrorist act, perpetrated by the forces of evil and the Houthi terrorist militia, reaffirms the danger of this terrorist group and its threat to the security, peace and stability of the region and the world”, it said, stressing that it “continues to confront all terrorist attempts and practices by the Houthi militia through its command of the coalition forces to support legitimacy in Yemen”.

Kuwait also declared its solidarity with the United Arab Emirates after a Houthi attack targeting a drone launched by the Houthi militia, which killed and injured a number of innocent people.

It said: “The continued targeting of civilians and civilian areas by the Houthi militia, their insistence on violating the rules of international humanitarian law and their intention to harm the security and stability of the countries of the region underscore the gravity of the behavior of these militias and the need for the international community, particularly the Security Council, to act to put an end to this aggressive behavior and to maintain international peace and security”.

Meanwhile, Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Choukri called his UAE counterpart Abdallah ben Zayed Al Nahyane to inquire about the reported explosion of three fuel tankers and a fire near Abou Dabi International Airport, which resulted in the death and injury of a number of civilians.

Choukri expressed the solidarity of the government and people of Egypt with the United Arab Emirates as a result of this incident and its condolences for the loss of life, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.

International experts and observers said the timing of Houthi’s choice to target the UAE was linked to several factors, after they lost hope of creating a rift in UAE-Saudi ranks.

Observers revealed that the Houthis’ move away from targeting the UAE in the past because of their desire to split the UAE and Saudi ranks by promoting an alliance between the UAE and the Houthis in secret. After their failure in their plot, they returned to their malicious terrorist agenda against the UAE.

It also speaks volumes of the Houthi militia’s vengeance against the United Arab Emirates for its humanitarian, political, and media support for the success of the southern giant brigades in liberating Houthi-controlled areas in Yemen.
