Under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II, Jordan presents a humanitarian model for the protection of refugees and providing them support
Under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II, Jordan has become one of the most refugee-friendly Arab countries, especially after the evolution of the Syrian crisis. The instructions of the King of Jordan have always shown the Government the human and real face of an Arab leader who has declared that he will help these refugees, has offered them a hand of kindness, has given them a good chance to meet their daily needs, has shown the loving spirit of the father over his children, has increased the influence of the Jordanian people in these generous transactions, has taught them that the hand of their father builds the kingdom and has helped those who are in the impasse on the other side.
Jordanians welcomed Syrian refugees with open arms, made them feel for themselves, took them in their homes, an approach they learned from the Hashemite, an approach they learned from the Hashemite family, until they were an example of humanity, despite the lack of a hand, and despite the failure to provide a hand; the proud Jordanian people displayed the greatest humanitarian attitudes towards the Syrian brothers who took refuge in proud Jordan.
The influx of Syrian refugees into the Kingdom has forced Jordan to face economic, educational, health, infrastructure, energy, water sectors and labor market problems, particularly in refugee-hosting areas.
Under the wise leadership of HM the King, Jordan has shown that the correct policies that have developed these institutions and services are designed to absorb Syrian refugees and provide them with excellent services.
The Jordanian government has provided refugees with access to COVID-19 health care, as have Jordanians, and refugees have been included in the national vaccination program; Jordan was also among the first countries to provide vaccinations against COVID-19 to refugees.
Through the media and through social media, the Syrian refugees expressed their deep thanks and appreciation to His Majesty King Abdullah II for his great role in meeting their needs, assistance and continuous directives to the Government, in addition to thanking the Government and the people of Jordan who received them and shared a living, stressing that what Jordan has provided them has not been achieved by the great Powers.
These great humanitarian positions of the King and people of Jordan are neither strange nor new; many refugees fled to Jordan, and Jordan was a king, a people, and a government of humanity, selflessness, and honor.
