Yemen – The Houthi escalate the pace of terrorist operations in the south

The Houthi terrorist militia will not stop its treacherous terrorist crimes that target the southern citizens, in light of its continued inability to stand before the southern armed forces. Reports revealed that the Houthi terrorist militia has a long history of committing crimes against humanity against civilians, especially women and children, by systematically targeting populated areas.

Houthi Crimes

“The increase in Houthi criminality and terrorism against southerners reflects the extent of this faction’s meanness and persistence in making brutal terrorism against southerners, without holding militias accountable for these crimes.”

The Houthi terrorist militia has stepped up its combat campaign against Yemeni army forces on various fronts, failing to launch a ballistic missile from a location in the capital, Sana’a, as it continues to threaten to return to the fight and derail pacification efforts.

Southern Victories

Southern political analyst Wadah Bin Attiya says the sacrifices made by southerners, both the people and the armed forces, increase the determination of southerners to resolve that battle, which will end with the realization of the people’s dream of restoring the state.

The southern analyst added that these southern sacrifices, as the leadership says, are a path toward completely expelling the Houthi terrorist militias from the south and achieving military victories that secure the political path.

The militias escalated their fighting with various weapons during an offensive in southern Marib that lasted for hours, he said, before government forces managed to repel the attack and inflict heavy losses on the Houthis.

Southern Sacrifices

Lt. Col. Mohammed al-Naqib, official spokesperson for the southern armed forces, said the current phase is one of giving and requires blood and spirit to be given to freedom.

In a statement to Yemeni media, Lt. Col. Al-Naqib said, “This is the blood of martyrs that is spurring us today more than ever.. Do not strive to give blood and spirit for freedom, complete liberation, and peace and stability that go beyond the southern national dimension.”

“This phase, like the last, conveys a message of selection, which says Allah hath purchased of the believers,” he said.

The Yemeni government warned against the efforts of the Houthi terrorist militia to derail the peace efforts and lead to an economic war to deepen the tragedy of the Yemenis. The government confirmed that it will deal firmly with any illegal measures by the Houthi militias to target the commercial movement through unilateral measures to hinder the delivery of commercial goods to the northern governorates, in order to pressure merchants to import through the ports of Hodeidah.
