Yemen: The release of the prisoners caused sharp disagreements between the Houthis

The new initiative announced by the Saudi-led Arab Coalition to Support Legitimacy in Yemen to release Houthi prisoners has caused sharp disagreements among the leadership of the Houthi terrorist militia.

Yemeni journalist Ahmed Ayed tweeted: The Houthi leadership ‏ bitter disputes over the release of militia prisoners ‎ Saudi Arabia and the refusal of the Houthis to recognize or welcome them.

He added that dozens of the captives of the Houthi coup militia who were released recently by Saudi Arabia were buried and their imaginary corpses were buried, and Houthi leaders married their women.

He said the released Houthi militia captives were shocked by the group’s abandonment of their captives, and by the fact that they were deprived of their wives and lives, noting that this incident was repeated dozens of times in the militia ranks.

On Friday, the Arab coalition announced a Saudi initiative that includes releasing 163 Houthi prisoners who participated in combat operations against the kingdom and transferring them to Sanaa and Aden.

The Houthi terrorist militia continues to violate the UN truce on various fronts in Yemen, under the obligation of the army and resistance forces.

The National Army forces said in a report that the pro-Iranian militia committed 126 violations of the truce in the past two days and Friday, including 36 violations on the fronts of Hajjah province, 27 violations south, west and northwest of Marib, 27 violations on the fronts of the Taiz axis, 24 violations on the axes of Bahr west of Taiz and Hays south of Hodeida, 11 violations on the fronts of Al-Jawf and one violation on the frontlines of Kitaf wa Al Boqe’e in northern Saada province.

The violations ranged from attempts by armed Houthi groups to infiltrate military sites by Yemeni forces to the targeting of army positions with artillery, bullets and car bombs. One of the air attacks resulted in the injury of a Yemeni soldier in the Al-Haima area in Taiz.

The Houthi militia has continued to create military positions, deploy snipers, artillery, and vehicles, construct side roads, and push in heavy reinforcements, including BMB vehicles and personnel, to various fronts, particularly the Taizz axis fronts.

The Houthi militia also pushed armed groups of its members to position themselves in heights overlooking the crossing, which the joint forces opened unilaterally at the Hays-al-Jarrahi line.

In a related development, the Media Center of the Yemeni Armed Forces announced today the downing of a plane belonging to the Houthi group, southwest of Saada city. The Center said through its Twitter account: The army defenses shot down the drone while it was attempting to target a military position on the Malahiz front.
