How to remove wrinkles around the lips?

You may have noticed the crevices around your lips. All our pro tricks to mitigate them… and never pout again.

Like the area around the eyes, the mouth is a particularly delicate area that quickly marks. Poor in sebaceous glands, it is drier, thinner and yet very stressed. This is why smokers or those who regularly expose themselves to the sun sometimes pay a high price, with a particularly marked contour.

Adopting the right care

To reduce wrinkles around the mouth, start taking good habits today: exfoliate them gently once a week. “Choose a very gentle facial scrub or a soft-haired toothbrush and gently massage the lips to remove dead skin. This allows subsequent treatments to penetrate the epidermis better and stimulates cell renewal,” explains Anaïs André, Marketing Director at Olisma. However, a skin that renews itself well is a skin that remains younger, longer. Then apply a suitable care such as a contour of the lips (or contour of the eyes). Favor formulas enriched with hyaluronic acid to plump the area and thus erase the dehydration fine lines. Finally, drink plenty of water and avoid smoking or exposure without protection.

Smooth the outline of your mouth

It has been proven that gestures matter as much as the formula of care. To smooth the lip contour, form a V with your index and middle fingers. Palm outward, place your index finger under the lower lip and middle finger above the upper lip, then stretch up towards the cheekbone. Alternate left hand and right hand, 5 times each.

Massage

In addition to small wrinkles, the corners of the mouth tend to fall out when the nasolabial groove deepens. Stretch upward in a small pinch motion with your forefinger and middle finger. Massage stimulates fibroblasts, which in turn promote collagen production to tighten the skin.

Press

This time use your index finger as an acupressure stylet by following the nasolabial groove. Apply gentle pressure (such as a stitch) with the fingertips below the corners of the mouth, then push another one up to the tip of the nose.
