Gargash: Strengthening bridges and solving problems are the UAE’s first strategic choice
Dr. Anwar Gargash, the diplomatic advisor to the President of the United Arab Emirates, said that the axis of the UAE leadership’s message to the region and the world is regional stability and prosperity.
Gargash explained, in a tweet on Twitter, that this trend is confirmed by the meetings of Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President of the UAE, with world leaders visiting the country.
He added that “strengthening bridges, solving problems, and earnestly building the future represents our first strategic choice, and there is no neutrality from it.”
The first speech of Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan since assuming the presidency on May 14th, 2021, confirmed that “the UAE’s policy will remain supportive of peace and stability in our region and the world, a support to our brother and friend, and a call for wisdom and cooperation for the good and progress of humanity. We will continue our firm approach in strengthening bridges of partnership, dialogue, effective and balanced relations based on trust, credibility, and mutual respect with countries around the world to achieve stability and prosperity for all.”
The principles of the 50th anniversary announced by the United Arab Emirates included that “calling for peace, negotiations, dialogue to solve all disputes is the basis of the foreign policy of the UAE, and seeking with regional partners and global friends to consolidate regional and global peace and stability is a fundamental driver of foreign policy.”
