Yemen: The murder of 5 women when a projectile exploded at a wedding
On Saturday, officials reported that five women were murdered in war-ravaged Yemen when a bullet blasted at a wedding held on New Year’s Day in the Red Sea port city of Hodeida.
This accident came following two days that almost 26 people were murdered in blasts that rocked the airport of the southern city of Aden as the landing of government ministers’ plane.
On his part, General Sadek Druid, the government representative in an UN-sponsored joint commission supervising a truce in Yemen, denounced the Hodeida explosion that left seven injured, and he described it as an odious crime committed by the Houthis against civilians.
