Worker Killed and Seven Injured in Russian Oil Field Explosion

A worker has been killed and seven others injured in an explosion at a Russian oil field in the Arctic.

Russian news agency reported that “Rosneft,” which operates the “East Yurengoy” oil and gas field in the Yamal-Nenets region of the Russian Arctic, confirmed that an explosion resulted in the death of one worker and injuries to seven others today, Friday.
