According to Jamal al-Manshaoui, an expert in Islamic movements, this activity is not random but rather supported by foreign intelligence agencies aiming to amplify events. He noted that the goal is to weaken stable states that are still capable of maintaining their institutions. This was reported by the Egyptian website Sout al-Umma.
The media activity coincided with statements made by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, warning Bashar al-Assad against his support for the resistance axis in Palestine and Lebanon. A few weeks after these statements, Syria witnessed intense military movements by armed factions, leading to the fall of Damascus.

He emphasized the role of religious institutions, especially Al-Azhar, in clarifying the prohibition of spreading unverified information. He also pointed out that the group takes advantage of economic hardships to incite chaos.
