Tension between US and Russia after Biden’s statements
A senior Russian lawmaker alerted on Thursday that Moscow would recall its ambassador in Washington if the US fails to explain and presented an apology for President Joe Biden’s comments.

On Wednesday, Russia declared that it is recalling its ambassador to the US for consultations. Furthermore, Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova blamed the US for bringing bilateral relations to a dead end, adding that we are interested in preventing their irreversible degradation, if the Americans are aware of the associated risks.
As comments on the Russian step on Wednesday, White House spokeswoman Jen Psaki affirmed that we will be direct, we will speak out on areas where we have concerns, and it will certainly be, as the president said last night, certainly, the Russians will be held accountable for the actions that they have taken.
Actually, this exchange of strong declarations comes after a declassified report from the US national intelligence director’s office that detected that President Vladimir Putin authorized influence acts to help Donald Trump in last November’s presidential election.
Biden when he asked about the declassified report, he said in the interview: (Putin) will pay a price.
Kosachev alerted on Thursday in Moscow that Russia’s response wouldn’t be limited to recalling the Russian ambassador if the American side fails to offer explanation and excuse. But, he didn’t indicate the other action that the Kremlin may take.
