A doctor recommends a diet that protects the kidneys from stones
A doctor has revealed a diet that, when followed, can help reduce the formation of stones in the kidneys.
The doctor, named Yekaterina Kurbatova, also pointed out that the recommended diet contributes to the elimination of existing kidney stones.
The Russian doctor advised consuming foods that reduce urine acidity, strengthen the deposition of uric acid crystals. Examples of products playing this role include bread, milk, and foods rich in magnesium and vitamin B6.
The doctor also recommended consuming pumpkin, Brussels sprouts, peas, cranberries, and sour apples, in addition to foods rich in calcium such as parsley, dairy products, and parsley.
Yekaterina advised reducing the intake of salty carbohydrates, avoiding foods that increase acidity in urine, including fish, tomatoes, potatoes, watermelon, carrots, lean meats, and pears.
