A girl falls from the tenth floor in Egypt

An Egyptian student died after falling from the tenth floor of the building she was inside, amid talk of an accident without criminal suspicion.

Preliminary investigations by the security agencies in the Egyptian Giza Governorate revealed, on Tuesday, details of the fall of a student from the tenth floor and her body getting stuck between the third and second floors, with the body being retrieved by civil defense personnel. It was mentioned that the girl was cleaning the balcony and fell during that time.

The investigations clarified that the girl was a second-grade preparatory student and informed her mother of heading to a small balcony attached to one of the rooms overlooking the building’s terrace to clean it for studying purposes. During this, she lost her balance and fell due to the low level of the balcony’s wall, causing her body to settle between the third and second floors.

After the arrival of the police, civil defense personnel managed to retrieve the body and transport it to the morgue of one of the hospitals. Her family did not accuse anyone, and a report was filed detailing what happened, according to local media reports.

The operations room of the rescue services in the Giza Governorate received a distress call from residents of one of the buildings on Transformers Street in the Imprimerie area in Faisal, on Monday, reporting the presence of a girl’s body inside the “Dorra Al Fadl” building, hanging between the second and third floors after falling from the tenth floor, causing panic among the residents.
