Tracking a mobile phone led an American father to a horrific discovery after he tried to check on his two daughters, who had stopped answering their phones.

The two girls, Hailey (19 years old) and Shelby (17 years old), had gone to an amusement park in the Rochester area of New York, but they stopped responding to their father’s messages sometime after leaving.

According to the “Daily Mail,” the father of the teenage girls decided to track one of their phones using an app to locate their whereabouts, which led him several miles away from his home, based on the location shown by the app.

However, the father was horrified when he arrived at the suggested location to find the area cordoned off by the police, discovering in a shocking manner that “his daughters had died in a car accident while returning home.”

The grieving father said, “One of the officers asked me what I was doing and what I was looking for… I told him I was looking for my daughters.” The girls’ car was crossing into the opposite lane when it collided with another vehicle.

The sisters died at the scene due to injuries sustained in the crash.
