Ahmed Helmy returns to the drama in 2022
Egyptian actor Ahmed Helmy has decided to take part in the 2022 Ramadan drama race, making his comeback on television after a 28-year absence.
Ahmed Helmy told the “ET Arabic” program that he has contracted a new drama series to be filmed in the coming days so it will be ready for broadcast during the 2022 Ramadan season on MBC.
Ahmed Helmy returns to drama after an absence of about 28 years, since the 1993 TV series ”Nas Wlad Nas” followed by a special appearance in the first part of the TV series ”Al Gama’a”, and a special appearance in the TV series ”Al Ekhteyar 2”.
Ahmed Helmy’s most recent work was “Scarecrow” in 2019, with ”Menna Shalabi”, ”Khaled El Sawy”, ”Bayoumi Fouad”, ”Intisar”, ”Samy Maghawry” and others took part in the film. The film was written by Abdel Rahim Kamal and directed by Khaled Marei.
