Airlift to Gaza… UAE sends 82 planes carrying 1498 tons of Humanitarian Aid


The United Arab Emirates (UAE) continues to transport aid to assist civilians in the Gaza Strip for the 23rd consecutive day. A total of 82 planes have carried 1498 tons of aid since the launch of the “Heroic Knight 3” humanitarian operation, ordered by Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the UAE’s President, to support Palestinians in Gaza.

Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the representative of the ruler in the Al Dhafra region and the chairman of the board of the UAE Red Crescent Authority, directed the harnessing of all resources to implement the orders of Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the country’s president, to support the Palestinian people in Gaza through the “The Gallant Knight 3” humanitarian operation.

The UAE had established an airlift to transport hospital equipment as part of its efforts to alleviate the suffering of Palestinian brothers and support the healthcare system in Gaza, which is facing exceptionally critical conditions.

Meanwhile, efforts continue to host 1000 Palestinian children from Gaza along with their families, providing all necessary medical and health care in UAE hospitals until their recovery and return.

The UAE’s efforts during the initial days of the ceasefire persisted to expedite the entry of the comprehensive field hospital into the Gaza Strip to provide necessary medical support to Palestinians in the region.

The UAE’s field hospital, with a capacity of 150 beds and implemented in several stages, includes departments for general surgery, orthopedic surgery, pediatrics, women’s health, anesthesia, and intensive care for both children and adults.

The “Compassion for Gaza” campaign, launched by the UAE to aid Palestinians affected by the war in Gaza and alleviate their suffering, reflects the UAE’s sincere approach to solidarity and humanitarian cooperation.

Until November 12, the campaign collected 1500 tons of food, medical, and relief aid, and 32 planes carrying 1030 tons of aid have been sent to Gaza.

In addition, on November 16, the Joint Operations Command of the UAE Ministry of Defense announced its intention to establish three desalination stations in Rafah within the Gaza Strip. Each station’s production capacity reaches 200,000 gallons per day, totaling 600,000 gallons, benefiting 300,000 people daily. This initiative embodies the UAE’s historical supportive and supportive stance towards the Palestinian brothers.
