An Egyptian man kills his sister before giving birth with 6 stabs

The murder of “Nora,” an Egyptian woman half an hour before she was born, has stirred social media in Egypt.

For four years, the victim’s sister had been seeking treatment for reproduction until God gave her a pregnancy and moments before birth the victim’s joy was not complete and she did not see her child.

The victim’s neighbors stood in amazement as they recounted the details of the story, which had become the talk of the hour.

Egyptian media reported that the defendant had beaten his sister with a white weapon two years ago, during which he stabbed her several times, but said, “God has given her a new life.” With these words, Umm Sayid, the neighbor of the deceased and a witness to the incident, began.

“It was at 3 p.m. when the defendant came to his sister’s (victim’s) apartment and asked her for a sum of money to pay off some of his debts, while he was planning to buy a dose of drugs,” she said. “However, when I learned about this, his sister refused and confirmed that she had no money with her.

“The defendant claimed that he had an injury to his foot and that he wanted a wooden stick to lean on,” she said. “When she came to him with the stick, he passed her over and beat her, entering a state of faintness, then his satanic ideas took him to take revenge, in order to get money to buy drugs.”

Another neighbor said, “The young man is known among the families for his drug addiction. Problems began between him and his sister because of his constant desire to obtain money to buy drugs. The dialog always ended when the sister responded to her brother’s request forcefully. It seems that the young man killed his sister because she did not respond to his usual request this time.”

A third added: “The victim testifies to her kindness and good manners from all sides,” he said. “She was loved by all the people.”

He continued: Throughout the month of Ramadan, she prepared meals to break the fast, along with cash to help needy families in the area every month.

The police arrested the suspect and seized the murder weapon. A record was drawn up of the incident, and the public prosecutor’s office decided to imprison the suspect for four days pending investigations on charges of premeditated murder.
